Getting your delivery done quick and cheap
A well-prepared delivery takes half the time — and time is what sets the price. These tips help it go smoothly and cheaply.

Measure before you move or buy
Before you buy that sofa or that second-hand chest of drawers, measure the doors, hallways, lift and stairwell. It's the number-one cause of nasty surprises on delivery day.
If the piece won't fit in the lift, it goes up the stairs (more time) or you have to weigh up other options. Knowing beforehand keeps the price right and avoids surprises.
Keep the access clear
The closer we can park the van to the entrance, the quicker and cheaper the delivery. If you can, save a space by the door or give the building a heads-up.
Clear the route inside the home: take up rugs, shut pets away and leave the hallways free — it makes carrying the piece up a breeze.
Bundle to save
If you have several things to move, bundle them into one delivery rather than booking several separately: making the most of a single trip is almost always cheaper.
And if it's just a few items, a delivery is quicker and cheaper than a full removal. Tell us what there is and we'll suggest the best option.
Tip: send us a couple of photos of what needs moving and the addresses (with floors and whether there's a lift) on WhatsApp. With that we'll lock in your delivery right away.
