Plan your office move
A well-prepared office move shows on Monday: in how quickly your team is back to being productive. These tips keep downtime to a minimum.

Label by workstation and department
Every box, piece of kit and item of furniture should be marked with its destination workstation or department. In the new office, everything goes straight to its spot and reassembly flies.
A simple floor plan of the new office showing where each workstation goes saves a huge amount of time on setup day.
Back up before moving
Before the move, back up computers and servers. Moving electronics always carries some risk, and a recent backup is the best safety net.
Label the cables and take a photo of the back of each machine: reconnecting at the destination will be a matter of minutes.
Move at the weekend
Moving outside working hours (weekend or overnight) avoids stopping work: on Friday you work in the old office and on Monday in the new one.
We fit around that slot and reassemble everything so your team walks in and gets to work with no waiting.
Tip: name one point of contact on your side for moving day. Having someone who can decide on the spot avoids stoppages and doubts.
